Roads are clear between Kaw Nation offices. Some sludge on the roads, but nothing iced over. Oklahoma Department of Transportation has not issued any warnings for hazardous road conditions in our area.
The Kaw Nation Emergency Management department and Cowley County Emergency Management have signed a Mutual Aid Agreement to provide assistance to each other in case of emergencies or natural disasters. Each of us have different and unique capabilities along with equipment that both of our citizen populations can benefit from in an emergency event. We are delighted to collaborate with our bordering departments and neighbors!
